There's a number of factors regarding your audio issues that are similar to my own (SEE thread: ).
Now here comes the weird part if I play a video on YouTube however it plays as 5.1?!? I've tried everything I can think of such as disabling the other Audio drivers such as the HD and the AMD one which is also installed, making sure that my speakers are the default audio device. The Realtek HD Audio Manager detects all 5 speakers but all my applications refuse to play 5.1 and instead play at 2.1 instead. Problem : Audio only plays out of two front speakers and subwoofer nothing from center and two rear speakers.
